Don't waste your time

Some very pretty and photogenic things and places can not be added to Google Maps. This includes places of no public interest like private homes and celebrity homes. Also, Google Maps is not a marketing platform for homes for sale or rent. Just like vacation homes and Airbnb apartments only can be added to Google Maps if they have permanent onsite management.

Other non-permanent places like potholes, Christmas markets, demonstrations, and food trucks* come and go and hence they should also not be added to Google Maps. Just like moving objects like bicycles, cars and boats make no sense to have on Google Maps since they have no permanent place.

Finally, businesses that do not interact with their costumers at a physical address should also not be listed. This includes online-only businesses and call centers. Illegal businesses and secret military installations should also be kept off Google Maps.

Avoiding such places can save you time and effort on your photo walks. It's all about being helpful to Maps users and keeping the Map clean and well organized. There are plenty of other social platforms where you can share your photos of such unmappable places.
